I have shared the death of my mother, father, a good friend, two beloved dogs and many wild creatures which I have tried to nurse back to health. It has stirred some deep and significant thoughts and feelings about some extremely “Grave Matters.”

THE BUTT IS GONE
At two am, on Thursday, August 4, 2011, Monkey Butt (aka Tucson), our dog of 15 dog years and 105 human years, died. It was fast and relatively easy, a blessing for him and for us.
